Big Baby

I have been to a few PGA tournament events. I would imagine following a group for some matches is different from just wandering the course or staying put on a hole for awhile. Making me feel like I am there OC. Tell Bubba to stop being a jackass. GO SERGIO!

Big Baby

Looks like Sergio smoked Chappell today 4 and 3.

If security comes over to speak with you it's just Jay Hass being careful.

Big Baby

Will you be attending any more days OC?

OC Dolphin

Unfortunately not, BB. Driving over to Houston this evening for a two days stay, then back here on Sunday to attend some concert my bro-in-law bought tickets for.

Jimbo

good deal OC. Glad your happy and having a good time.

Jimbo

FZB, congratulations to you and your family.

Jimbo

positive vibes all over the place here.

Jimbo

Joke of the day:

A CNN reporter walks into a neighborhood tavern and is about to order a drink when he sees a guy at the end of the bar wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat. It didn't take an Einstein to know the guy was a Donald Trump supporter.
The CNN guy shouts over to the bartender, loudly enough that everyone in the bar could hear, "Drinks for everyone in here, bartender, except for that Trump supporter."
After the drinks were handed out the Trump guy gives the CNN guy a big smile, waves at him and says, in an equally loud voice, "Thank you!"
This infuriates the CNN reporter. So he once again loudly orders drinks for everyone except the guy wearing the Trump hat. As before, this doesn't seem to bother the Trump guy. He just continues to smile and again yells, "Thank you!"
So the CNN guy again loudly orders drinks for everyone except the Trump guy. And again the Trump guy just smiles and yells back, "Thank you!"
At that point the aggravated CNN reporter asks the bartender, "What the hell is the matter with that Trump supporter? I've ordered three rounds of drinks for everyone in the bar but him and all the silly ass does is smile and thank me. Is he nuts?"
"Nope," replies the bartender. "He owns the place."

the shadow knows

WHAT A JERK!!!!

what did humanity get wrong in order to get lavar ball his 15 minutes? talking about getting billions of dollars? alll that is wrong with sports; claiming he could beat michael jordan 1 on 1? what a schmuck!

Mr. Woodcock

Agreed.

the shadow knows

NOW HE CAN DISAPPEAR!!!

good riddance lavar ball; see you again when #2 son goes to UCLA. alonzo ball totally outplayed by UK's two freshman. where was that jump shot that was better than magic's? 10 points in a mediocre - stats line. goodbye to the ball family for a few years!!!

Fzb3346

Those are fighting words OC,'WTF ... my jokes are flat ?..

Fzb3346

Shadow, I agree with you 100% on your Lavar Ball assessment, good riddance.

Jimbo , Guys thank you so much for the kind words, we are very happy, Mom and Baby are doing great.

Fzb3346

I'm watching the Oregon / Kansas game... very entertaining game so far

the shadow knows

Fzb,

if lonzo bell is a top ten pick. i will do cartwheels. another kendall marshall- no jump shot. if he is guarded 25 feet out he won't get that absurd shot off-throws it up there chest level. gonna wind up d-league material!!!

the shadow knows

WILL BE ROOTING FOR UNC, ...

but have taken a great liking to john calipari.
if he wins with freshmen again i will be thoroughly convinced. i don't think the tar heels will be getting all of offensive boards despite a size advantage- quickness is an understated factor in rebounding-see dennis rodman.

Big Baby

I will always like Coach Cal for getting UMass to the Final 4 in 96'. He left town before the NCAA got there for questioning same deal in Memphis but no doubt a very good coach.

Big Baby

I can't root for UK or UNC. Doesn't matter Oregon is winning the title that team is a blast to watch. They look to have some players who are close to NBA ready.

the shadow knows

Big Baby,

you are right-oregon is a load, versatile and athletic.

the shadow knows

VIVA CUBA LIBRE!!!!!

poncho martin and his defense are going to the final four. wasn't he a high school around here sometime back? anyway, a fresh face to go along with with of gonzaga and the ducks; UK and UNC are old hat at this.

the shadow knows

JUSTIN JACKSON:

totally inconsistent shooter. going 9 minutes without a basket isn't helping UNC either.

Big Baby

TIED FOR FIRST!!!

ONE MAN TEAM!

NOT A 2 SEED.

OVERRATED!

FU*K YOU PANSY!

Fzb3346

is that OC on that photo?..or an usher?..or both?

back in the 305 people, have not kept up with too much lately but back to the grind...

did anyone see the Kentucky ? UNC game?..man that WAS a good game, just great drama.

the Heat dropped a tough game yesterday, its quite obvious what they truly need to be a contender, an elite point guard or small forward that can create its own shot, break down a defense and dish out to teammates...almost everything else is in place already.

Fzb3346

one more thing, I'll most definitely be rooting for South Carolina in the final four...Frank Martin baby, a local kid done good.

Jimbo

Honestly... I haven't watched one college basketball game this year. Not one minute.

Jimbo

Been getting tuned up physically. 2 hour workouts 4 days a week, run every other day. Playing some basketball with retired navy & marines during lunch a couple days a week. Hit the beach in the afternoon some days. Taking a road trip to DC soon. Ohhh, the life of a retiree.

Jimbo

Mock drafts aplenty this time of year & here's one I like:
http://phinphanatic.com/2017/03/27/dolphins-post-free-agency-7-round-mock-draft/

Fzb3346

I like Jimbo's mock draft, and OG, DT & DE?..yeah, that will work.

the shadow knows

"NARRATIVE"!!!!!!

every hack on radio and TV has overused this word to the point where i wanna vomit. how about replacing the "n" word with the word "story?

the shadow knows

Big Baby,

the spurs got your team vaulted into the top spot for now. enjoy!!!

Big Baby

For now and to stay. Put the cart before the hore on those Cavs shadow.

Big Baby

Cavs seems broken. Lebron the flpoper is crying and pointing fingers at his teammates. Maybe they recover they have the talent but hopefully not.

Big Baby

Lebron The Flopper.

Big Baby

more FIFA shenanigans shadow Messi gets 4 games for a verbal altercation with a referee.

a Freaking joke FIFA blows try calling a foul on Messi for once what an assclown soccer league

the shadow knows

MAYBE THE CAVALIERS NEED THE HEBE BACK?

cleveland, and i pay very little attention to the NBA, looks like the wheels are falling off.
i hope the celtics finish ahead of them in a big way.

Tom

Big Baby who is 18 games over 500 and in first place in the NBA East? Let me give you a hint.... IT AIN'T THE HEAT.

I hope you all are well.

OC Dolphin

Nice seeing you, Tom. Hope all is well with you and yours.

Jimbo

Hello Mr Tom. Hope you are well also.

Big Baby

56 intnl goals for Dempsey shadow. 18 y/o Pulisic looks like he is going to be a really good player for USMNT.

the shadow knows

Big Baby,

clint dempsey just keeps scoring. a team without him is pretty much toothless. glad to see he is still producing

Fzb3346

Tom, I certainly hope this is not the last time we see your sorry ass around here, and I meant that in the nicest way possible.

we miss you buddy.

Big Baby

Michael Irvin in the news again. What a crack head.

Fzb3346

slow time of year eh guys?

hey the Heat WON again yesterday, according to the Sun Sentinel they have about a 71% chance of making the playoffs this is after starting the year at 11-30..truly remarkable..coach Spo HAS to be coach of the year.

Fzb3346

saw the GS / SA game last night, don't count out GS and they are getting back K Durant soon..oh boy.

on the Dolphins draft, I know the D needs MAJOR help but the most logical pick for us at 22 is that Lamp guy, the guy is a STUD, Tunsil and him on the left side make my toes tingle.

another Shell & Upshaw ?..

Big Baby

Seems like a good choice maybe Larsen is just insurance in case he is taken before # 22? They do seem intent on Larsen and Bushrod being starters which is the only reason they could choose another player it seems.

There are a couple of LB's I wouldn;t mind seeing them take put Misi on the bench if you have to he isn't making that much. If Lamp is that much of a stud he shouldn't be there at 22. If they are convinced Peppers can play safety then take him first.

Big Baby

Having Nate Allen play nickel would be ideal over Bobby McCain.

the shadow knows

Fzb,

agreed about erik spoelstra. unbelievable job, even if they don't make the playoffs, which likely will see the heat after what you again stated was an incredibly miserable start.

Big Baby

I am objective enough to acknowledge the Heat are having a good year. They play hard, drive to the basket and defend well. They will be a tough out in the playoffs. Besides Milwaukee they are the team I don't want to face in the first round. They are a quality shooter away from really being good.

That said if Boston ends up with the Number One seed it has to be Brad Stevens as Coach of The Year.

Talented Safety signed:

T.J. McDonald promises to learn from mistakes with Dolphins
11:56 AM CT

James Walker
ESPN Staff Writer

MIAMI -- T.J. McDonald knows his first foray into NFL free agency didn’t have to be this difficult.
The 26-year-old safety is entering the prime of his career while coming off a solid season with the Los Angeles Rams where he recorded 64 tackles, two interceptions and one sack. Still, McDonald didn’t find a team until Friday, three weeks into free agency, when he signed just a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.
McDonald’s issue hanging over him was an eight-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance-abuse policy. The suspension comes from an incident last May where McDonald was arrested for driving under the influence of prescription drugs. He pleaded to a lesser charge in January.

T.J. McDonald will be making plays for the Dolphins instead of against them -- once he returns from an eight-game suspension. Most teams decided to stay away. But Miami saw enough potential in McDonald to give him half the season to prove himself.
“It was just something that I’m definitely paying the price for to think that I’ve made it,” McDonald said Friday on a conference call with the Miami media. “I’m definitely going to own up to it. It was something I’ve learned from.”
McDonald added that his mistakes “will never happen again.” The move could pay dividends for the Dolphins, who need depth at safety.
Miami is coming off a 10-win season and has playoff expectations again in 2017. McDonald will come off suspension around November and could provide a boost for the Dolphins' secondary opposite former Pro Bowl safety Reshad Jones.
In the meantime, McDonald will be just a footnote for Miami until the winter. He is allowed to participate in offseason workouts, minicamp and training camp. His suspension will begin in Week 1 of the regular season.
“I’m coming back [after the suspension] against the wall," McDonald said. "I’m just happy to go move forward with this and being able to get back to playing ball. It’s all about ball for me right now.”
----------------------
He is young and talented. Getting a safety in the second half of the season with fresh legs helps. IMO this is a shrewd move. One year "prove it" deal.

Fzb3346

the T J McDonald signing is a solid move, the guy made a mistake and its paying for it but we are going to have him for the last 8 games, the guy is good and young (26 yrs old)...and maybe he and the team hit it off and he can stay in Miami long term.

win situation for the team I say.

Fzb3346

anther good move by Tannenbaum, Grier and Gase..

Big Baby

Great move.

Big Baby

Kid sounds like a baller. Rams continue to make questionable moves. May have solved our FS problem for the next 5-6 years.

Big Baby

scratch Peppers off the list.

Mr. Woodcock

So we sign him for a year and first he serves an 8 game suspension?

Really?

Big Baby

Sure if he is the future at the position then its worth it.

Big Baby

They would obviously have to resign him but he's probably better than our current starter. With injuries etc it's a good move for roster depth.

Big Baby

Dion Jordan released after failing a physical. I will never forget John Gruden's shell shocked look after they drafted Jodan and him saying to the camera:

"This guy wasn't on anyone's draft board".

Tom

Dion Jordan is Jeff Ireland's

http://www.thephinsider.com/2017/3/31/15143422/dion-jordan-cut-by-miami-dolphins

Tom

Dion Jordan is Jeff Ireland's legacy

Jimbo

Dion Jordan.. an end of an error.

Mr. Woodcock

He'll go down as the biggest draft bust in Miami history.

Jimbo

McDonald plays the safety position like Rashad Jones. Great range & tackles with a thump.

IMO DT, OG, LB, DE are the biggest positions of need. This draft is loaded with D guys so every position is possible.

Jimbo

Already has Woodcock unless this years guy can find a way to beat him... Pretty tall order. Ross put a lot of faith into Parcells picking Ireland who in turn picked Dion Jordan. His has to be the biggest business mistake ever. Fins used 3 draft picks for Dion, one to select him, 2 in a trade to Oakland for the spot. Millions of $ wasted. Surprised Ross hadn't used his NY connection to take Ireland and Jordan on a 1 way trip to the Everglades.

OC Dolphin

Jeff , I believe is still scouting for the Saints, who have the 11th pick. Strong bet that he's trying to convince GM, Mickey Loomis that they trade four picks to move up and select Kim Jong-un, fat and ugly, out of Pyongyang University.

Mr. Woodcock

Check this out.

Fzb3346

Glad the Dion Jordan era is OVA, bout time...the good thing it free's up 3 mil in cap room , maybe we can sign LB Z Brown?

the shadow knows

Mr. Woodcock,

even a bigger bust than that runner from florida state. i remember him as being pretty darn bad.

Fzb3346

Gonzaga is having their way early in the game but it should be very competitive

the shadow knows

EXCRUCIATING!!!!

watching the title game last night. and the never worse than before shooting of justin jackson-trhrowing up airballs with five minutes left in the game. what an awful game to watch, but UNC seems to wake up in the last few minutes of their tourney games. what a misery except for the tar heels winning.

Big Baby

Sammy Smith?

In order it might be

Dion Jordan

John Bosa

Yatil Green.

Of course John Bosa's kid is a stud for the Chargers. Luck of the Dolphins.

Big Baby

No my list is just a snapshot. Here it is in all it's glory.

A who's who of mostly hot garbage. I wonder if any team has drafted worse in the history of the NFL.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Miami_Dolphins_first-round_draft_picks

Big Baby

They have drafted pretty well since 2011 besides Jordan at least.

Big Baby

Bosa
Kumerow
Smith

three draft killers in the prime Marino years

Big Baby

Didn't draft an impact player from 84-89'.

Big Baby

90's killers Hill, Milner, Green, Avery.

Big Baby

shadow Sammy Smith is right up there near the top of the list.

Mr. Woodcock

Yes, yes, Jordan has been a massive bust but as far as busts go nothing will top when Jimmy, who decided to get paid by Huinzega but not do anything while he coached the Dolphs, passed on Randy Moss and took that midget 5-5 150 pound receiver from Mississippi State. Not only did we miss out on a HOF player but all we got was a guy who could easily get behind the front seats of Jimmy's 911 to clean the rear seats. I have erased the name of that stiff from my memory banks but someone must know who I'm talking about.

Mr. Woodcock

I said receiver but he was a running back. A few years after he was out of football he was working at a bar in Tampa making $3.00 an hour as a midget for the Midget Tossing promotion that they ran every Wednesday night.

Fzb3346

THAT GAME LAST NIGHT WAS PAINFUL TO WATCH!!!, I feel Gonzaga let the game slip away, of course the Ref's were pretty bad too.

Fzb3346

If you guys are talking Dolphin draft busts I nominate Billy Milner OT..horrible pick.

Mr. Woodcock

Sucked. That's why I don't watch college basketball. Massive snoozefest.

OC Dolphin

Woodcock, two great groups to keep an eye out for on Thur/Fri... el Rory and el Español, Rahm, then later, Dustin Johnson con el Bubba y Walker.

Big Baby

Bubba and Walker?

Mr. Woodcock

Obama, still sucking giant donkey dicks.

Mr. Woodcock

I'm rooting for McIlroy, and of course against the Democrats. They can all fuck off.

Mr. Woodcock

68 holes in 5 days OC.

the shadow knows

Mr. Woodcock,

john avery was from ole miss and randy moss was drafted before the dolphins had a pick that year. maybe they could have traded up, but they were third from the bottom in picking.

Mr. Woodcock

That's him. John Avery. He couldn't run downhill at the Coral Gables youth center 115 pound division. A complete and total disaster of a draft. Passing on Moss and drafting Avery. And that idiot had Moss right there. I stayed home to watch the first round thinking that Randy was going to go in the first 5 picks and he kept dropping. Ahahahahahahaha, what does that say about the moron GMs in sports. "But Woodcock, Moss has a lot of off field issues." Ahahahahahahahaha. Incredible. Anyway, back to the story, so he drops ten more spots and now we're getting close to our pick and the five or six teams above us don't need a wide receiver and we sucked on offense and needed Moss in the worst of ways. So what does Jimmy do, he trades down six spots behind the Vikings and I knew we were toast. Sure enough, "And with the 25th pick in the whatever NFL draft the Minnesota Vikings select, Randy Moss, wide receiver from Marshall."

"AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH! Johnson, you worthless pile of dog shit, I hope that you get the piles for seven straight years you son of a bitch!"

Then he dropped down again, and finally, "And with the whatever pick in the draft the Miami Dolphins select, John Avery, running back from Bumfuck."

Ahahahahahahahahahahaha. Worst draft day in Miami Dolphins history.

Mr. Woodcock

The reason that they picked that low Shadow is because brain dead Jimmy traded down twice. Had he at least selected a starter at any position with the first pick and picked up a few serviceable lower round stiffs that at least could run down kicks and provide cannon fodder during practice you could somehow excuse this giant faux pas but noooooo, not only did he draft Billy Barty's black half brother but the picks that he acquired trading down and passing on Moss amounted to horse shit.

Worst draft day in Dolphins history.

Mr. Woodcock

Eventually that left to the embarrassment at Jacksonville when Jimmy lost by something like 60 to 3 to the Jags and after that he figured that he had milked that idiot Huizenga for all that he could and he dropped the Dolphs like a bad habit and headed back to TV commentating. "See ya Miami. Yea, I'm satisfied with all the dough that I have stolen for a quick 3 years down here. Thank you, thank you, thank you, see ya all wouldn't want to be ya. Wayne, make sure that my last check is paid for in cash, preferably in sterling that you can direct deposit to my bank in Bermuda. Bye bye boys!"

Unreal.

Big Baby

Marino was basically done by the time Jimmy got there. Jimmy was probably thinking he was getting almost in his prime Marino which screwed the whole deal. He did draft some good players Surtain, Madison, Zach but missed on Moss I guess but so did others. Jimmy's curse was giving his blessing to Dave Wannstedt.

Big Baby

Marino was done at around 35 played until he was 37. Weird when you see favre and Brady playing until 40 injuries did him in.

Big Baby

Moss would have demanded a trade with the crap carousel of QB's Miami was rolling out there.

Big Baby

I guess you meant Jimmy Walker OC. Rory and Rahm should be a great pairing but the elder Spainiard El Nino is playing well at 37.

Big Baby

I like O'Reilly the entertiner OC but like I said he's in real trouble now and his employer is as well. Advertisers are bailing which usually spells the beginning of the end ask Tiger.

Big Baby

Hannity is on a roll! Unmasking the dirty dealings of the dems. Go Sean go!

the shadow knows

Mr. Woodcock,

forgive the ignorance but i was in the Holy Land at draft time that year; got to florida summer of 1998. be blessed and rooting for spieth at augusta. still remember the horribly awesome shot by mcilroy that went by a house on one of the holes. breathtaking!! rory would be a nice winner also

Fzb3346

and the NFL keeps getting richer.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/04/04/amazon-lands-thursday-night-football-streaming-package/

the shadow knows

citizens,

when the ole shadow arrived in 98, marino was a cooked goose. couldn't move, couldn't throw, couldn't think, wasn't allowed to audible, ... just one issue after another
