Hey my boy is taking me to the Canes game on 12-28-16 in Orlando ( I think is that day) so I guess I see that one...I'll probably watch a couple more but I'll definitely watch the playoffs.

This season has already been a success on many levels starting with our coach , something else he has done, he put together a nice coaching staff plus I think we also have a good GM

Big Baby

Not to say I told you so FZB but I TOLD YOU SO. I said trust Tannenbaum let's evaluate him. His fingerprints are all over this roster and it's an increasingly good one. I think he's here to stay and keeps bringing in good players.

Big Baby

Let us not forget Dennis Hickey who drafted the amazing Juice Landry. Thank you Dennis.

Big Baby

I had a feeling when they brought in Joseph it was a great hire. Cincinnati defense balled out when he was there the drop off has been huge for them since he left. Gase needs to finish strong one more win and the season is a resounding success.

Fzb3346

BB...I'm not talking about Tannenbaum..I'm talking about Grier..the guy is in charge of the draft , he did a nice job in his first draft.

Big Baby

Tannenbaum controls the draft I thought no? I see Grier as more of consultant to Tannenbaum.

(the real) david in los angeles

baby?

you are a text book case study of a closeted little bitch just trying so hard to prove how tough you are.

of course you were a raider fan.

of course you'd like kid rock.

get out of the closet already..

(the real) david in los angeles

Not to say I told you so FZB but I TOLD YOU SO. I said trust Tannenbaum let's evaluate him. His fingerprints are all over this roster and it's an increasingly good one. I think he's here to stay and keeps bringing in good players.

Posted by: Big Baby | 12/20/2016 at 08:31 PM

go fuck yourself, faggot..

you didn't tell us anything, dumb ass, except that the celtics are the 2nd best team in the east.

you told us you didn't like the 4-3, told us it's a passing league, a win now league, and all the other garbage you post.

you liked ireland, then you didn't.

you liked hickey, and now tannenbaum?

like you even understand what goes into being a general manager? lol

remember when you told us wake wasn't living up to his contract?

he made the pro bowl today dumb ass.. just one more in a long and retarded list of "insights" you bless us with on a daily basis..

the FACTS are, ireland, hickey AND tannenbaum are responsible for the players we have right now.

Big Baby

IT goes for 44 in the win. Didn't someone say Boston had no stars?
((((crickets)))) ((((chirping))))

(the real) david in los angeles

kaz said boston has no stars, and he's right.
thomas is a really good player and unfortunately for you, it takes more than one.

you're not making it to the eastern conference finals, so i am not sure what you're bragging about; a win over memphis in december?

hahahahahahahaha

(the real) david in los angeles

didn't someone say the celtics were better than toronto?

hahahahahaha

Fzb3346

BB...Grier is in charge of the draft and personnel, he makes the final call on who to draft.

Tannenbaum is good at negotiations and has good connections..he is not that good a player evaluator

Big Baby

Isaiah Thomas not a star? You're a fucking moron check the stats. Must be too busy watching garbage 9-19 Heat players.

Fzb3346

yes the Heat are bad this year but Jedi Master Riley said we will be fine and I trust him.

ok on to the Dolphins game..since I am a total homer.

Dolphins 23 Bills 20

Big Baby

Tannenbaum traded for Kiko and Maxwell. He has final say on all personnel matters. Grier is a glorified consultant.

Big Baby

Memphis is the best defensive team in the nba too dummy. It droped 44 on them on the road. Grizzlies are ranked 7th in the nba in the power rankings that's a good win. In december. Heat are light years from competing.

(the real) david in los angeles

didn't someone say the celtics were better than toronto?

and no, memphis is #2 in points allowed, not #1. the #1 team is utah, the team the heat beat a couple weeks ago.

http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/team/_/stat/team-comparison-per-game/sort/avgPointsOpponent

memphis was in the game, even leading, until zach randolph, their best defensive player, was ejected, so stop your bragging, you big pussy.

look big pussy.. i know it's celebration time because the shit celtics are 4 games over .500, but you aren't doing shit this year, AGAIN.

it must be nice to say you're finally better than the heat once we lost 3 hall of fame players, but you have a long way to go.

Big Baby

"the shit celtics"

lol they will finish no worse than 3rd in the East this year. They could still finish second.

They are one player away from contending. One. Heat. Not so much.

Still think Boston doesn't have more upside lol

Fzb3346

I'm going to settle this argument right now..BOTH the Heat and the Celtics suck ass.

on another subject, check this out.

According to the Football Power Index, Miami has a 91.5 percent chance of making playoffs w/win over Buffalo and 29.1 percent chance w/loss.

sooooo I guess this is a big game, yup, the season is on the line boys, I feel a lot better with Gase in charge than the Janitor.

Mr. Woodcock

Wassup Dap, you get the book yet?

the shadow knows

Fzb,

pat riley has never coached/won w/o the first or second MVP of the league on his side-count em up: magic and KAJ, ewing, mourning, shaq/wade, and of course lebrun james. he has no talent on this year's team that anybody would give up an upper, upper echelon player for. hunker down for some lean years, even if miami gets a lottery pick.

Fzb3346

Shadow...never under estimate Riley, he thinks big...I'm pretty sure he won't rebuilt with the draft, he'll do it in free agency and trades.

(the real) david in los angeles

"the shit celtics"

lol they will finish no worse than 3rd in the East this year. They could still finish second.

They are one player away from contending. One. Heat. Not so much.

Still think Boston doesn't have more upside lol

Posted by: Big Baby | 12/21/2016 at 04:19 PM

ah.. now you're gonna be #3?
what happened to #2?

no, the celtics do not have more upside than the heat.

the celtics are mired in mediocrity, while the heat are dealing with young players and more injuries than any team in the league.

we will be contending before the celtics are and the reasons are obvious.

we have a better and younger core, we will have more cap room next year, we're a more desirable location, the celtics have won ONE TITLE in 30 years and, of course, we have pat riley.

we've had 2 years like this season in the past 24 years.

(the real) david in los angeles

i'll let hall of famer pat riley explain:

Even with the Heat at 9-20, Riley stressed hope.

"This is not old-coach speak or just trying to put a positive slant on things," he said. "I'm really proud of the young team, of these guys that have come in. They've really bought in; they've worked hard. We're going through some absolute, I think, important growing pains.

"We hate to talk about it in professional basketball. But I would say this team, there's five wins -- we been in 13 close games -- and there's at least five more wins in this team that would put us at .500. But we didn't get 'em. We lost [Tuesday] in a double-overtime game that we probably should have won."

Riley then addressed the undeniable rebuilding process, one that could include a lottery pick in June.

"We've done this twice,' he said. "Basically, we had to do it in 2001 when Alonzo Mourning went down with the kidney ailment. So we had two tough years, which produced Caron Butler and Dwyane Wade [in the draft] and also Lamar Odom in free agency. That started that rebuild back that turned into Shaquille and the [2006] championship and then the Big Three.

"And in 2008, we took a hit and we missed on that pick in Michael Beasley. We didn't really miss on it, but the best player was Russell Westbrook.

"We're in a rebuild with young players that we're familiar with. We have five or six guys that we really like. They will form a nucleus. We have some very good young players."

He said he also appreciates that patience can run thin, alluding to the flexibility that Heat should have with salary cap space in the offseason, perhaps even sooner depending on the machinations with removing Bosh's hit from the salary cap.

"What we have is flexibility," he said. "And you need flexibility in this league to be able to move quickly. You can't get paralyzed by the cap or not being able to make room, or being able to trade players. And, so, I think the number-one asset that we have right now is our flexibility moving forward. We have a first-round pick this year. And so we're dealing with it. And we're dealing with that word, that you hate to use, is that we have rebuild.

"But we will rebuild quick. I am not going to hang around here for three or four years selling this kind of song to people in Miami."

see dumb ass?

your chance was last year and this year, but you aren't better than the cavs, the raptors or even the knicks.. lol

enjoy your 4th place finish, bitch. we'll be ahead of you soon because this is the miami heat.

Big Baby

I'm going to settle this argument right now..BOTH the Heat and the Celtics suck ass.

Not so fast Ferdinand you said were a Celtics fan at one time in your life.

Big Baby

shadow I would give up an upper etchelon player to get hassan whiteside. He is now a star on a bad team. Good point here:

hunker down for some lean years, even if miami gets a lottery pick.

Success can be difficult to let go of.

(the real) david in los angeles

like riley said, we've never "hunkered down for lean years, dumb ass.

whiteside is a star on a young team that's been riddled with injuries, but a team with a great young core, AND a team that will be competing next year, if not this year.

you'd give up an "upper echelon player" for him?

he's better than anyone on the celtics, and the heat aren't moving him, thanks.

your dumb ass can call it a season in december, but you did that last year to when you said your celtics would be in the eastern conference finals, and you still finished behind a miami team without it's best player.

the celtics are a middle of the road team in a conference they have been trying to compete in for 30 years, while failing miserably, by only winning one time.

ONE RING.

30 YEARS.

and you're lecturing us about "success"?

you've tanked, stockpiled draft picks and you're still going to be a 3-4 seed at best this year, with no chance of advancing to the conference finals, let alone the NBA finals.

you will never learn.
i'll let shaq explain what riley explained; you'll come back with something stupid as usual, but facts are facts.

the heat haven't had "lean years" since riley came to town, and that won't be changing anytime soon.

""I know Pat and Erik, they're going to make some moves," Shaq said. "They always do. I would not be surprised if they get a big-name guy at the trade deadline."

enjoy the 4 seed, douche bag.

at least your raiders are good..

OC Dolphin

I like Riley, but of course he's going to say that he's not rebuilding through the draft. He has no draft! His only play is to sell the city, lifestyle, and to capitalize on his undeniable persuasion.

There's no hate in an analysis that recognizes a far more favorable draft (assets) for the hated Celtics than for the Heat. It's all there in black and white:

http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed

Heat: No incoming picks, only outgoing - 2017: 2nd to Atlanta, 2018: 1st to Phoenix, 2019: 2nd to Minnesota, 2020: 2nd to Boston, 2021: 1st and 2nd to Phoenix.

Compare that to the hated Celtics:

Incoming:
2017: 1st from Brooklyn, 2nd from Cleveland, Clippers and Minnesota, 2018: 1st from Brooklyn, 2019: 1st from Clippers, Memphis, 2nd from Detroit, 2020: 2nd from Miami.

There's no contest as to whose future appears brighter. And I say that reluctantly.

OC Dolphin

He 76ers are going to be a force to be reckoned with. They've sucked for so long that they have accumulated a bunch of #1 or #2 players, and they have something like 5 more first rounders from teams within the next four years, plus their own high draft picks.

If Pat Riley were a pursuer of where the grass is greener he would bolt to the city of brotherly love. That goes double to Phil.

the shadow knows

easy to root for UNC...

when duke has nasty players like laittner and now grayson allen. the young man is a great ballplayer and a prick otherwise.

Big Baby

No worries the great Coach k will figure it out.

Mr. Woodcock

Oye OC, did you get a break from playing one of the Elves at Santa's Village?

Nice of you to chime in.

He he.

"OC Dolphin, OC Dolphin, you're needed back at Santa's Village. Rudolph just had an accident that needs clean up. OC Dolphin. OC Dolphin. Please come to Santa's Village immediately."

Mr. Woodcock

"Ah, blow it out!"

Mr. Woodcock

Well boys it's come down to one game for my vaunted fantasy team, "Trump this Chris!"

I've had multiple names for the team all year all with the same theme from "Fuck you Clinton" to the current monicker.

I was thinking of changing back to my actual name the guerre which is always "Just Blow Me." but I'm feeling a bit superstitious and I'm not changing anything. I'm standing pat with the lineup from last week that got me into the final. I'mm looking at a $2,500 payoff.

Go Dolphins!!!!!!!!

Fzb3346

U bitches are not worried about Saturday?..because I am.

Fzb3346

let's see now, the Bills where embarrassed by the Dolphins the last time so they are out for blood and we are playing without Tannehill, R Jones and Pouncey...plus is going to be windy, wet and in the 30's, perfect Buffalo weather..

the last time we were in a similar situation in Baltimore we failed miserably.

Fzb3346

I know I'm being a bit negativo today but the Dolphins have done this shit to us for as long as I can remember, I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best.

go Dolphins !

Mr. Woodcock

And the Trumpster announces his latest choice for the Ambassador to Mexico position.

"Tell them to go back to wherever the fuck they came from."

Still laughing.

You can tell that this is a more refined individual, one that has the same top drawer qualifications that is strived for in all presidential appointments. This isn't just one of those Walmart Aliens that shop in that dump, no sir, this broad was at J.C. Penny. And she looks, fine, wealthy, and healthy standing there at two and a half spins, three spins once she eats the entire box of Christmas cookies in the car on the way back home, dressed in her favorite "barn red" colors. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed in was that the new ambassador didn't give the one finger salute to the shopper who tried to cut in line.

"Fuck you bitch, and go back to wherever the hell you came from."

Now these are words that we can rally around especially during this festive time of the year.

Ho ho ho indeed.

LMFAO

Big Baby

Totally worried. If they lose we have to hope denver loses so it's still a win and in situation in week 17. Maybe NE will have home field and rest the starters. indy has to beat oakland this weekend for that to happen. I just need to keep hoping this team can continue the magical season they have given us. Moore can show us the way. I said after the Rams game miracle I would never doubt the team again. Go Miami!

Mr. Woodcock

Big Baby

shadow Grayson has anger issues like dave go easy on him.

Fzb3346

that JC Penney bitch needs a hug for sure.

(the real) david in los angeles

oc, if the question is who has more draft pics, then of course the answer is boston.

they've had tons the last few years, and that hasn't pushed them past any of the top teams in the east, or west.

a team of marcus smarts won't put you over the top.

we have a 1st round pick this year, tons of room and a core to build around, featuring one of the top centers in the game.

riley said what he said because it's the truth; this team has never spent years stockpiling pics and taking forever to reload.

we'll be fine.

Mr. Woodcock

OK boys, do I go with the Dolphins defense against Buffalo or the Tennessee defense against Jacksonville this week?

Big Baby

You're in the championship game asking those questions bro? Seems you have that sh8t figured out you don't need us.

Mr. Woodcock

Look Dave, in the NBA the only thing that counts is getting "The Star" whomever the fuck that is. It's a star driven league. It's the smallest of all the team sports with just 5 guys playing so one player makes a huge difference. In basketball there are no 2000 Baltimore Ravens who win with D and a third string QB. That never happens in the NBA. In the NBA you win if you have guys like this on your team;

Russell, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe, Duncan, or LeBron.

Be thankful that you had LeBron for 4 years. Now those days are long gone. For the Heat to become a perennial NBA contender again they need to win the lottery in the year where there is a Super Super Star like one of the names above coming out of college that year.

Short of that it's bupkis for the Heat, Bro.

Big Baby

My team miami vice lost 127- 125 on Graham Gano's neverending field goals Monday night. I was hoping to play in the title game but third place game it will be. Thanks Graham Gano.

Mr. Woodcock

Think of it as getting an invite from the Trumpster to Trump Tower to have a chat with the president. Trump likes to do that and use people as sounding boards. At the end he makes his own decisions but he talks to as many people as possible. That's the way I look at it right now, BB.

Right now I think of you as Kanye West. I don't know what the fuck the Donald talked to Kanye about but I'm sure that he used his advice to set the floor on whatever subject he was considering.

He he.

Tennessee or Miami?

Big Baby

a team of marcus smarts won't put you over the top.

That was a bad pick. Ainge missed on Julius Randle at 6 I said it from day one. That said he has made a lot of moves that have worked including bringing in the current starting five that only needs one more star to compete with Cleveland.

(the real) david in los angeles

yes, FZB.
i am a little worried, but not too much.

of course big douche bag thinks it's all about matt moore but the truth is, it's about the offensive line and our run blocking in particular.

if we had pouncey i wouldn't be worried at all, but his loss has really effected the running game.

the bills will stack the box, they will try to stop the run and force us to pass all the time which, as those of us with brains know, is a recipe for disaster.

gase has done a great job not abandoning the run and getting just enough from it to keep the offense balanced and keeping the opposing defenses in check.

we've faced some nasty defenses the past month, but the game plan hasn't really changed that much.

he's the anti philbin.
philbin, like big baby, was a pussy who would let the other team dictate what we'd do, (and then whine and make excuses).

i am feeling pretty good about this game though, and it's great playing for something this time of the year..

(the real) david in los angeles

baby, you are 4 games over 500.

the cavs have you at every position, except MAYBE center.

you need more than one star to compete with cleveland and arguing otherwise is just fan boy fantasy talk.

Big Baby

Miami defense has been playing well recently and they are second in the league in int's with 16. I just don't like the matchup against a good offense. Tenn defense is the play.

Mr. Woodcock

The kicker will be OC's advice. Once I know where OC is going I'll do the opposite.

Wassup OC!

Boy, if I win league, OC. I'll send you one of Woodcock Enterprises left over ugly Christmas sweaters that didn't ship out on time and is still in our giant warehouse in Nevada. You're going to love getting our 100% polyester imitation wool sweater with Santa wanking off in the front and Rudolph dropping a steamer in the back. You'll be guaranteed to win the ugly sweater contest for sure next year with this handsome piece of fine clothing imported especially for the Woodcock Christmas collection.

Ho, ho, ho!

Mr. Woodcock

Agreed, I just picked them up last hour and replaced Miami with Tennessee.

We'll see if it was a smart move or not but I think it's the better move. Going with history and the percentages here. I still have Miami on the team so it will be a game day decision depending on how I feel but right now I have tennessee starting.

You wan't one or two sweaters, OC? They're going fast buddy, so far we're up 33,435 winning contests with the Woodcock Christmas collection ugly sweater.

Big Baby

One more star dave. Boogie Cousins maybe? that's' what they need. Ainge has the picks and players to make a big move in the next 1-2 seasons get ready for a splash.

Big Baby

It will be mostly about Matt Moore. Ajayi hasn't done much the last 6 games. I will take a grind it out win or anything at this point though.

(the real) david in los angeles

jacksonville sucks, their offense is awful and tennessee should destroy them.

that being said, miami is a boom or bust defense and as baby noted, those take aways and turnovers could get you some nice points.
the weather should keep it low scoring i'd think, but you never know with these teams..

OC Dolphin

Woods, you should go with your gut instinct. You're never wrong.

...there. That will just about guarantee his loss.

(the real) david in los angeles

you've been saying boogie cousins for a couple of years now, but settled for al horford.

cousins is a head case anyway, you're probably better without him and improving other positions.

(the real) david in los angeles

ajayi has done enough to keep the offense balanced, keep the play action viable and to give the passing game chances to make plays.

just like the jets game.

the running game can have a big effect on the game without gaining tons of yards, baby.

it's what we've been trying to tell you.
the jets game is a perfect example of that.

Big Baby

They didn't settle for Al Horford he was the best available free agent and they got him. Cousins name continues to be the topic of trade rumors almost daily.

Mr. Woodcock

Mop and shine, OC.

"Cleanup on aisle four!"

He he.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah, you sons of bitches. It's been a hoot talking to all of you this year.

You too Trust Fund you little dweeb, wherever the fuck you are.

Ho, ho, ho!

OC Dolphin

Woodcock, I'm sure you already know that the Titans defense has allowed less overall yards than has Miami's. Also, J-ville is totally out of any playoff machinations, whereas Buffalo does have a remote chance, heightened, through beating Miami.

It's really a no-brainer, Woodcock.

Mr. Woodcock

No shit. i thought the Titans defense was the best that we played all year.

Big Baby

They could win out and go 10-6. Tenn loss doesn't look so bad then. That was before Miami flipped the switch on their season they gave up 7 sacks in that game if I recall.

Fzb3346

the Miami D can't stop the run however they do cause turnovers but I would take Tenn's D.

I don't think the Dolphins will be able to run with any consistency on Sat but they can't stop trying either, U gotta keep pounding it.

Big Baby

Dave I know that running the football often opens up the passing game. That's a different argument from saying it isn't a passing league.

Fzb3346

Boys, the Dolphins better win this game, I don't wanna be pissed off Christmas day.

(the real) david in los angeles

Dave I know that running the football often opens up the passing game. That's a different argument from saying it isn't a passing league.

Posted by: Big Baby | 12/22/2016 at 04:06 PM

it isn't a passing league.
glad you've finally come around.

Fzb3346

You can win in the NFL passing all the time....IF you have a Brady or Rogers at QB, otherwise?...U have to run the football.

Big Baby

Heat are 10- 20 and the third worst team in the division. Plenty of basketball left though.

Big Baby

3rd worst team in the conference.

Big Baby

OC I thought the Lakers had some good young talent but I just looked a their record and guess what. They stink.

Big Baby

Thanks for giving dave a reality check on the Heat though. I still think the Lakers can be better they do have some good players.

(the real) david in los angeles

You can win in the NFL passing all the time....IF you have a Brady or Rogers at QB, otherwise?...U have to run the football.

Posted by: Fzb3346 | 12/23/2016 at 07:17 AM

see baby?
some of us actually understand the game.

you should ask santa for an instructional video or something; you know, at least then when you made comments about football we wouldn't be bored to death..

(the real) david in los angeles

the only reality check you need to know about the heat is they've dressed fewer players due to injury the last month or so than any team in the league.

miami's starting 5 has played fewer games together than ANY team in the league.

read that as many times as you need to.

or keep commenting like a dumb ass and act surprised when we start winning more games.

then act even more surprised when riley makes a move either this season or this summer.

you will never learn.. lol

(the real) david in los angeles

the lakers do, in fact, have some very good players and like the heat they've been hit hard by injuries.

the lakers will probably be better than the celtics by next year as they have plenty of cap space and a young core more talented than that overrated middle of the pack celtics team that consists of Isaiah Thomas, al horford and role players..

Fzb3346

boys..a very healthy and wonderful merry Christmas to all, I'll be going to Jax first thing in the morning to be with the grand kids..I'll check in from time to time.

Big Baby

the lakers will probably be better than the celtics by next year

dave sorry to hear you fell off the wagon. Stay away from the egg nog!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Big Baby

Heat could use some "role players" like Avery Bradley 17.9 ppg 7.3 reb 2.4 assists. Six Celtics in double figures last night against the mighty Pacers (you said they were better than us). Cherish the rebuild memories!

Big Baby

Has IT cracked the top 5 in nba scoring yet? I think maybe he's not a star though. I need to look that up.

Fzb3346

this is for my Jewish blog buddies, one last present to Israel from Obi..

http://nypost.com/2016/12/23/un-votes-against-israeli-settlements-as-us-abstains/

fuck U Obi!

Big Baby

Merry Christmas to you and your family as well FZB.

Happy Holidays to everyone! Even Tiny Tim of the blog.

(the real) david in los angeles

thomas is a great scorer, but limited defensively. he's currently #7 in points per game, but considering boston's offense runs through him, that's not surprising.

what keeps him from being elite are his defensive liabilities and his shooting percentage, which is a miserable 43%.

bradley is a good player but both those guys are making less than market value, and both won't be on the team next year.

i'd take dragic over thomas.. better facilitator, more assists, doesn't need to shoot every possession, shoots at a higher percentage, better defender and better playmaker.

as for bradley, i'm happy with tyler johnson, thanks.

your obsession with miami and it's talented but inexperienced young core is touching sweetie, but if you plan on being better than #4 in the east and not getting to the conference finals again, i'd start paying attention to the elite teams.

YOU AREN'T ONE OF THEM.

your team, as always, is one dimensional and will be easy to stop in the playoffs.

you have a one man team, and that one man ain't elite and even if he was, he'd still need more around him.

(the real) david in los angeles

sorry fernando, but israel has no business pushing deeper into that land with settlements until they come up with a comprehensive 2 state solution.

there are millions of people there living as 2nd class citizens, and netanyahu is a disgusting pig who needs to realize the status quo is not a long term approach.

Big Baby

dragic over Thomas. I thought I said no egg nog dave. There isn't a GM in the league who would agree with you.

(the real) david in los angeles

and big baby dummy?

we beat indiana too.. a week ago, actually.

what's your point?

(the real) david in los angeles

dragic is a better overall player than thomas, and every GM would agree with me.

thomas is a one dimensional player who needs a system like boston's in order to flourish.
he's a great offensive player who isn't a great defender.

OC Dolphin

Bb, as with Miami, lots of injuries. Give it time.

(the real) david in los angeles

hey big dummy?

did you watch the celtics game tonight?

see how you guys thought you were actually in it until westbrook went off in that last minute with back to back 3 pointers, PLUS the killer shot with the "and 1"?

THAT is what an elite player looks like dummy, and that showcase couldn't have come at a better time, based on your man crush on thomas.

like i keep telling you:

the celtics have a LONG way to go before approaching elite.

don't waste your time, OC.
the lakers, like the heat, have a talented young core although you guys have a bit more veteran leadership on the floor with deng.

keeping him would've really helped us this year.

my prediction?

both the lakers AND the heat are better than boston by next year.. lol

Jimbo

Merry Christmas to all.

PLAYOFFS!!!!

no way in the world for the dolphins not to get into the postseason. they have a win over pittsburgh should the ravens win the division, and if the steelers win the ravens would perforce have 7 losses. many, many a close game, but only a matter of which teams with a so-so record will be there for the dolphins. probably a rematch with either the steelers or ravens, with a very slight possibility of the houston texans, whom the dolphins have been ordained to play every season, haven't they?

JACK DEL RIO?

his team is running all over the opposition, he has a top 2 seed virtually locked up, and he lets his MVP QB stay in to absorb a broken leg!! a tremendous season turned sour by the prospect of carr out of the playoffs. a real shame for the raiders, who are/were having aigret season this year until today's injury,
