OC Dolphin

Hope players stay away from making social demonstrations. It will be 9/11 for Pete's sake.

Standing up during the National Anthem before games is perhaps the last common practice we hold that binds us all together as Americans.

Mr. Woodcock

At Catalina island. If you can't get laid here you're dead. Most impressive.

the shadow knows

OC Dolphin,

i am in at 10-6; optimism prevails!! i'm in with my pal Big Baby! good company to keep!! blessings to all on this eventful, sullen day on the american calendar.

Mr. Woodcock

God bless America.

Fzb3346

Haha !, Woodcock looks like a mexican jardinero hehe, you know the ones that take care of the lawn..happy

What's up bitches !, football season is back!

Fzb3346

Hey what are the chances we beat Seattle today?... i say yes!

Dolphins 26 Seattle 24 , yeah I said it.

Fzb3346

And where the hell is Kaz?, in Antarctica again?

Fzb3346

I second that , god bless America and to those that disrespect the flag and my country " Fuck Off "!

Mr. Woodcock

Oye first two canes games and we look good. How was the game yesterday. Coed? Best? Noise? Team?

Mr. Woodcock

Crowd heat

Fzb3346

Wood's, the Canes were sleep walking in the first half but the young defense kept making plays, the O Line wasn't giving Kaaya any time to throw but they finally got it together and won going away.

Next week's game is going to be very tough, Appalachian State is no push over..

So far the Canes have been a carbon copy of the Georgia bulldogs when Richt was there, running and defense, music to my ears.

Old school football, you gotta love it.

Dolphins about to get going.

the shadow knows

Fzb,

agreed on running and defense. someone had the causes at 7-6, and methinks they are 8-9 wins even in a tough conference. they are not losing to UNC, duke or the likes this year.

the shadow knows

HOW BIN THE WORLD...

did kennynstills drop an easy catch that would have been a TD? UNREAL!!!!

Fzb3346

The Dolphins D is keeping them in the game, our offense has been a dissapointment so far.

6-3 at the half...

Mr. Woodcock

Dolphs receivers are offensive.

D looks good.

OC Dolphin

Kenny Stills dropped a sure TD, and they could have had 3 points more on that 4th and inches. Should be 13-6.

Fzb3346

The Dolphins offense has been sooooo bad today, I thought fucking Gase was supposed to be an offensive genius..que mierda.

OC Dolphin

Where's the offense?

Fzb3346

fuck it , I'm not gonna complain anymore, they were supposed to lose anyways...

OC Dolphin

Yeah, baby!!!!

Fzb3346

I'm not gonna say anything positive, I don't wanna jinx this thing.

Fzb3346

The offense lost this game, they were horrible today, moral victories don't count in my book a loss is a loss

Fzb3346

Hey if the Patriots lose tonight ( a good possibility) all the AFC east teams will be 0-1

the shadow knows

fellers,

the drop by stills changed the game. don't know if i have ever seen a guy so wide open for a TD drop a properly thrown pass.

Big Baby

Game changing plays.

Not getting the first down on 4th and inches in the first quarter.

Still automatic td drop

Franks blocked fg.

That game was very winnable. My takeaway from that game is that they had a vg home team on the ropes and they let them off the hook Dennis Green style.

I am encouraged by what I saw from the defense but not holding on that final drive we have seen many times before.

OC Dolphin

Then there is also the reality that Seattle expected to win and thus found a way to do just that, while Miami perhaps entered the game with the notion that they could steal a win. That's not good enough, nor is it acceptable. Establishing a winning record is the only thing that changes that, and until that happens, they will continue to lose games that they should have won.

Mr. Woodcock

Great game. Miami actually looked competent for a team on the road playing Seattle. In hindsight they should have kicked the field goal when they were 4th and short in the first half. That's on the coach, he'll learn that against a great team on the road you take the points.

The defense was magnificent. At the end they had lost Phillips, Williams, and Mitchell and they couldn't put pressure on Wilson like they had been doing all game long.

On offense it was much of the same but they showed flashes. A two point loss at Seattle where they made them go the length of the field to win was more than most expected. Hopefully they can build on this. Injuries are the key Miami is still very thin at a lot of positions and school is still out on Tan.

Next week NE.

Go Dolphins!

OC Dolphin

And there lies the difference. Miami goes to Seattle, a SB contender and loses by two points to a team with a winning track.

Meanwhile, New England goes to Phoenix, a SB contender and wins by two points to a team with a winning track, but not as much as the winning record NE enjoys. Winning begets winning.

(the real) david in los angeles

the fact is, we weren't supposed to win that game, PERIOD.

on the road, new coach, new system, no center, untested corners against the best defense in the league with the best secondary on a team that's been to 2 superbowls the last 4 years, and who many are picking to win it all this year.

my only question was how were we going to lose; would it be a typical dolphin loss?

a pass heavy loss?
the defense quitting loss?

or would they show some grit and fight and give them hell?

they gave them fucking hell, PERIOD.

there were many positives to this loss, and i haven't felt that way in a long time.

i liked the 4th down call too; you are on the road, you fucking go for it and get in their heads asap.
it's easy to second guess that call but it was a ballsy call.

i like gase; i liked how he didn't panic when the running wasn't yielding that much success.

i thought steen was very good; he did his job, his rhythm with tannehill was fine and he didn't give up a single sack.

isa abdul-kuddas played his ass off and might be the best pick up of the off season.

tannehill's go ahead drive was a thing of beauty, and very encouraging. he didn't panic in the slightest, even when dropped passes and nasty hits were slowing him.

a new offense gelling always takes time, and this one will be no exception.

the pass rush was stellar, and the run defense was as well.

this defense is going to smack the hell of of some teams this year, and again, i am quite encouraged.

seattle is an amazing team, and amazing teams that have "been there" no how to win.
i think we'll get there, and again, it's been a while since i've felt that way.

the shadow knows

MATT CASSELL, II

no surprise here that jimmy garafalo played so well. he's been with NE a couple of seasons and training camps and the coach up there doesn't keep non-quality players. his passes were darts and he played behind a makeshift line. won't be easy this coming sunday. at the end of the season, we'll see pst how important that fun by kenny stills was.

Big Baby

I am headed to Foxboro this weekend to watch Miami make toast out of young M. Garropolo. It's bordering on a must win they have to steal one in either Seattle or NE. They will crush Cleveland in week 3. Jimmy G. played much better than I expected but if Miami d plays the way they did against Seattle Miami should win one in Foxboro.

Mr. Woodcock

I'm with you Dap. If you told me that we would go to Seattle and outplay them for 58 minutes I would have been thrilled. Fact is all 4 AFC east teams should have lost last night. NE just got wide left lucky to win that game. It's a long season and if our D line stays healthy we're a good team.

(the real) david in los angeles

we ARE a good team, woody.. i completely agree.

the last drive was heartbreaking, but with 2 starters out on that drive from injury, and with a hobbled phillips, what do you expect against one of the best QB's in the league?

i think we'll be better than i originally thought; that game had many positive things to build on.

(the real) david in los angeles

and yes baby, our chances are quite good this next game.
garrapolo ain't wislon, that's for sure..

(the real) david in los angeles

i disagree with the "must win" exaggeration, though.

when you look at our schedule, 2 road games early in the season against the seahawks and the damn patriots are hardly must wins.

don't get carried away here.

we may very well lose this weekend too, but unlike the last few years, i think we'll see marked improvement and most importantly, i believe, barring massive injury, we can finish the year quite strong.

this will take time.. especially offensively..

Big Baby

Passing league. Win now league. Starting 0-2 would severely hurt our playoff chances.

Big Baby

I said it bordering on a must win.

Fzb3346

this from Barry Jackson.

Tannehill was pressured on greater % of dropbacks that any other QB Sunday. This is a recording:

and in the hell is a QB supposed to run and effective offense if he has to run for his life all the time, fucking Dolphins still have not fixed the O Line.

BB..please let's not talk playoffs until we at least get to 9 wins, which may not be until next year or the year after.

Fzb3346

I thought Gase had a bad day yesterday, his play calling was questionable and he didn't manage the game properly, this loss was on him and the whole offense.

Fzb3346

this is for all U Trump supporters out there, did you know U-all are a bunch of deplorable's?...that's right according to the bitch you all are.

OC Dolphin

This game loss was not on Gase or Tannehill or on anyone else other than Stills. Dude dropped seven points and a 17-12 win.

Big Baby

we went from 1-15 to 11-5 once FZB its ok to talk playoffs anytime I think not after some magical 9 win plateau.

Fzb3346

OC...it was a combo loss.

the O Line was bad in both pass protection and the running game.

the play calling was too vanilla

a blocked FG

4th and inches and they get stuff

Stills dropped TD

Fzb3346

no issues with the D, they just ran out of gas in the end.

Mccaber2

OC- Put me in for 8-8. It's been a tough few months, but the NFL season gets me in a great frame of mine.

Mccaber2

There is a reason the saints got rid of stills. The guy must of spent his time getting ready for his protest instead of thinking about the game . He had a great qb, and he still got dumped.

Big Baby

Bet he scores against New England.

Mccaber2

Big Baby- A lot of guys score TDs. Only 16 teams win each week. HOF Larry Fitz. scored 2 TDs last night, but lost. That is all that counts.

(the real) david in los angeles

"win now league"?
oh jesus.. here we go again..

Mr. Woodcock

Is anyone watcbinv this rsms gsme? Ray malavasi must be calling the plays. They suck.

Mr. Woodcock

Rams suck donkey ducks. By the time they play the dolphins they will be giving the tickets away for free. Even Georgia's front and reary's last team in la was better than this team. This game is better than no dose it's putting millions to sleep all over america.

Mr. Woodcock

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............

Mr. Woodcock

Bad team man bad fucking team.

the shadow knows

AWAY AT NE?

granted the dolphins were mediocre last year, but how does any team warrant opening away at two conference finalists? jimmy g was really good and a performance like his on sunday will spell doom for the locals. lucky everybody else in the division that is not NE stinks

Big Baby

Fine with me shadow the weather is great and no Brady. Couldn't have worked out better for me I am getting there early for tailgate wearing my Marino jersey. Traveling with Pats season ticket holders wish me luck.

Fzb3346

WHAT'S GOING ON KIDS?..

BB, good luck at the game on Sunday, I'm taping the game, I'll be driving back home to the 305 at the time, going friday night to Jax for my grand daughter's birthday bash, family comes first.

Canes will roll this week, yeah I said it.

OC Dolphin

BB, you showing up at the stadium wearing Marino gear!? Going to feel like you're in there with 64,000 daves from LA.

Big Baby

Do it every year OC lots of Miami fans there every year maybe a few thousand. A catch a lot of shit but people are mostly normal. Don't think I would do it in Buffalo or for a Jets game.

Mr. Woodcock

OC, have you met Ralph Kramden yet?

the shadow knows

Big Baby,

of course the erudite NE fans won't mind you wearing a marino jersey. "no brady" is not necessarily so great for miami- jimmy the back-up looked darn good and better than who the dolphins have. fifth year and #17 is still getting pummeled and notnthrowing the ball away, except when he throws his one spectacular that kenny stills turns into an incompletion. that was a big, big moment in the dolphins' season.

Big Baby

Never change shadow you continue to be a great contrarian voice of the Dolphins. This is a really big game for Miami. It wouldn't have mattered as much if Gase had just listened to Tannehill they would be 1-0 he basically said so today. I think Miami will confuse the sort of rookie QB for NE and make his life somewhat miserable. Maybe I am just hoping as they have lost 7 straight in NE many of which were just soul crushing losses. A win on Sunday would go a long way towards changing the culture in Miami.

Fzb3346

BB...Gase seems to be the real deal , from what I can tell he is a solid leader and the team is responding to him but let us not forget he is a very young coach and very inexperience, this year will be a wash for him but he should improve as the year progresses ...very refreshing to see a coach admit his mistake and give credit to a player, quite different from the walking dead stiff we had last year.

Good night people.

Mccaber2

Big Baby- The dolphins will have to score more then 10pts to stay with the Pats. The never score much in the last 7 trips to foxboro.

(the real) david in los angeles

baby you SHOULD head down to a jets game. you're not that far.

i caught a dolphin game a couple of years ago in new york at a midtown bar that's the miami dolphin fan bar in new york.
they BEGGED me to come back for a jets game; it's their highlight of the year. it's basically the reverse of the jets coming to miami.
they have thousands there as there are many miami folks up in new york.
when hartline caught a TD he went to their section, gave them the ball and shouted out to the group in a tweet.
it's supposedly a blast..

Mr. Woodcock

Dap, if the New Yorkers are anything like the Miamians at the Orange Bowl during Jets games BB will need an Uzi and a full body suit to attend a Dolphs game in NY.

Mr. Woodcock

I can't imagine him not getting into a fistfight at the game.

Big Baby

I could almost guarantee you I would end up arrested in Buffalo.

Fzb3346

there is no way I'll show my face at Buffalo or NY wearing a Dolphins shirt, that's asking for trouble I say.

what are the chances we beat the fucking Patriots?..I think not too good but I'm giving this cat Gase the benefit of the doubt to turn the Dolphins into winners again, so far I'm not too impressed but its early in the season.

Fzb3346

the fact I think Appalachian State is going to give Miami trouble is an indictment on how far the program has fallen, I hope that under Richt all this is going to change, I know they are not there yet talent wise but I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

fuck U Shalala!!!

and fuck U Ross, U imbecile.

Fzb3346

here you go Cane fans, nice article on our new coach (s) , go Canes !

http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article101779447.html

(the real) david in los angeles

buffalo is a different story.

new york city?

i cannot WAIT to go to a game there; there are literally thousands of miami fans at the stadium when the dolphins play and they are LOUD.

Big Baby

I'll skip that one. Times seem to have changed people are not afraid to say or do anything anymore in a lot of stadiums. Jet fans are the worst.

Big Baby

I did go to a Miami game versus the Giants at the old stadium around 2003 and had fun. Didn't wear any Dolphin attire except for an orange pullover the guy next to me was a Miami fan we won and high fived all game no problem. The Wanny years.

Big Baby

I got 6th row end zone for the game on Sunday it's good to know a season ticket holder. If a Miami player scores near me look for me on tv I am going right to the wall for some mclovin or a football.

Mccaber2

Big Baby- Have fun sunday. I love to tailgate at foxboro before and after the game. A tough place to get out after the game. A good time to have a few beers, and dissect what went on in the game.

Big Baby

Thanks Jack hope there are some fin fans in my section iam flying solo. My group is in row 33 behind me. I got one ticket from my buddy on the season ticket exchange. He at least said he would come visit me lol.

OC Dolphin

BB, if a celebration breaks out in the end zone, how are we to know it's you and not Marino?

Big Baby

Dan will be in the luxury box unless I get lucky and find him sitting next to me.

(the real) david in los angeles

mitchell is hurt, still not sure about mario either.

that isn't good.

i really hope those 2 can play or it could be a long sunday..

Mr. Woodcock

Dapper Dave and Trust Fund make sure that you notice that the data comes from four separate peer reviewed studies from around the world.

“no observable sea-level effect of anthropogenic global warming.”

In fact land masses have been increasing not decreasing around the world.

"Who goofed I've got to know."

Fuck you Gore.

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/barbara-hollingsworth/4-peer-reviewed-studies-find-no-observable-sea-level-effect-man

Mr. Woodcock

I signed Pumpkin up for one of those religion type classes at American Martyrs so that she can do her confirmation. I'm going to be her sponsor so I had to show up last night for the orientation and lo and behold you should have seen the "talent" at the affair. The ratio had to be 85/15 women to men and I would say that most of the girls were in the fertile range of mid twenties to mid thirties. Every single babe was wearing tight jeans and push up bras. I wasn't really looking forward to spending every Wednesday night at this hootenanny and was regretting every minute that I drove up to the "Blessed Kateri Room" for the heavy snoozefest until I walked in ten minutes fashionably late only to be met by a covey of bright smiles from the assembled ladies in the room as soon as the Cuban Comet made his entrance. Most impressive. After I signed in and shook hands with the eager beaver Dudley Dooright type stiffer that was running the show, a Deacon Chip type guy, I quickly perused the room and found an empty seat next to the buxom babe whose name tag read Myra Chacon. That is after I loaded up on the free chocolate chip cookies on the way to the heavenly seat next to bombshell Myra.

I had no idea that Catholic night school was a talent rich targeting environment?

After 40 minutes of the Chipster droning on and on about some horseshit or another he said that sinners would be really welcomed in the class and that they would go to places that they never imagined. I quickly imagined myself walking through the door of the Motel 6 in Hermosa with Bombshell Myra.

Stay tuned.

(the real) david in los angeles

this game is winnable, but i have some concerns.

i really think it comes down to the running game, and for both teams.

the pats are going to come out pounding the ball; they have done that to us in the past and i see no reason why they wouldn't now, with a back up QB and some vulnerabilities on our defensive line.

the pats ran the ball 31 times against the cardinals.
i expect more of the same.

i hope we commit to running against the pats; arizona averaged good yardage against them on the ground.

it's winnable but again, when you look at this schedule, at seattle and at new england to open the season are definitely losses. i hope it's a competitive game and if we get to garapolo, anything is possible..

Fzb3346

David and guys, just about every NFL game is winnable providing we don't make stupid mistakes like the last one, the Dolphins simply need to learn to win all over again, Gase has his work cut out for him.

keys to the game, no turnovers, have a semblance of a running game and protect the QB, on defense hold the Pats to FG, easier said than done.

later

Mr. Woodcock

And in separate developments, the Trumpster's surge is so huge right now that it's being picked up on seismographs all over the country. The only thing registering higher richter scale readings occurred this morning in Chappaqua, NY, when Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton rolled out of bed this morning.

I hear she's feeling wonderful. That's nice, I wouldn't want her to stroke out before she can concede on national TV on November 8th.

"And aaaawaaaaaayyyyyy we go!"

I hope that my friend Jimmy is working on my tickets to the Trumpster's inaugural balls. I wouldn't want to rip my corinthian leather tuxedo climbing over the fence if you know what I mean.

(the real) david in los angeles

surge? lol..

it's not surprising you don't know how to read polling data, but allow me to fill you in.

in the everyday up and down of the polls, the race is tightening, yes.

but when you look at the numbers, you see trump hasn't really moved at all, while clinton's numbers are the ones moving.

she's had a tough 10 days, like trump had after the convention.

he's still polling horribly in the key demographics, and electorally he's still behind in virginia and pennsylvania, to must win states so enjoy the illusion of a victory because come november, with your canes and dolphins in the toilet and your candidate's ass kicked by a woman you are going to be one cranky motherfucker.

wassup viejo!

Mr. Woodcock

Dumb fuck, your gal tub of shit had an 11% lead after the convention and after the Trumpster called told that towel head who spoke at the convention to fuck off. Of course we all told you that no one gives a crap what Trump said to Haji, and in fact six weeks later Haji is yesterday's news. Now Tub of shit's campaign has been crashing like the Hindenburg right before your eyes. You should have taken me up on that monkey suit gig during the Big Guys inauguration, now that ship has set sail.

Sucks for you.

(the real) david in los angeles

dumb fuck... towel head... tub of shit.. monkey suit..

it's called a convention bounce, dum dum. every candidate gets one.

of course, you still cannot refute the premise of my statement which will ultimately be the demise of trump; namely, HIS numbers aren't going up, only hers are fluctuating.

you should repeat that again since english isn't your 1st language.

HIS
NUMBERS
AREN'T
GOING
UP.

apparently the number of imbecile deplorables and brainwashed republicans has a ceiling in the low 40s% bracket.

you know what that means?

that means it's going to suck BIG TIME for you in november, as i have been saying for over a year, so enjoy, old man.

you have less than 2 months to pretend that an inexperienced, tax cutting, debt increasing, dictator coddling, nuclear weapon proliferating, reality TV star hated by most economists and generals will win, and then it's over and you know what?

your old pal OC might end up banning me because you will never hear the end of it.. lol.. and i mean NEVER, so enjoy. the next 60 days or so are all you have left.

OC Dolphin

Hey, Woodcock, anyone else come to mind who would also do this for their pet?

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2016/09/13/woman-pays-375-to-save-9-goldfish-after-it-chokes-on-pebble.html

OC Dolphin

Wait a second, dave. I'm a bit confused. I always thought that a candidate gets a convention bounce after holding their own convention, not their opponents.

Mr. Woodcock

Dapshit, right now tons of fun Hill is even trailing Harambe the dead gorilla by 15 points in African American neighborhoods.

Mr. Woodcock

Was that Pinky or Perky, OC?

Mr. Woodcock

I sure hope for your sake, Dave, that Ton of Fun doesn't get confused on the stump today and pull out Harambe's birth certificate instead of Obama's when she brings up the Trumpster's hateful comments about Birther Buck.

Mr. Woodcock

OC, Trust Fund is an accomplished scientist and oceanographer, he wouldn't take Pinky to the vet and drop $350 to pull the pebble out of the little guy's mouth. No sir, for that he has Jeeves or Dapper Dave on retainer.

"Chop chop, Dave. And make sure you squeegee the glass behind the treasure chest where the little bubbles come out from."

the shadow knows

el señor woodcock,

cody kessler actually a back-up in the NFL? the guy can't, like eleinart and barkley before him , throw deep outs. jimmy the back-up patriot can.i'd br arty surprised if the dolphins won on sunday. coach bill just does the old eli whitney and the interchangeable parts work on both offense and defense. still in disbelief about kenny stills; his explanations were hilariously funny, especially the one where he stated he thought there was a guy near him! there was- 15 yards near him.

Mr. Woodcock

You better save all your energy for tomorrow, Shad. It may be a long evening in Palo Alto.

Mr. Woodcock

Dapshit, you know that the very first thing that the Trumpster will do on his first day at the White House, well maybe the second thing after he bangs Melania in the Lincoln bed, is to put Obama and Moochie's picture in the White House kitchen.

Fzb3346

you can tell its football season or election season when the insults start flying around, eh guys?

what up bitches !!!!

ok this is how the shit is going down this weekend, the Canes are going to roll by something like 33 to 14.

and the Dolphins are going to shock the world and only lose by 3 pts...

make me a believer Gase.

Big Baby

Miami is winning the game.

Mr. Woodcock

This game will tell a lot about the Canes, FZ. Apalachian on the road, if this team if for real they will roll, anything else, well, there's always next year.

Let's put it this way, if Jimmy Johnson was the coach and the Canes went up to Bumfuck and didn't roll he would run their assess into the ground. No Jimmy Johnson Canes team was going to go into Bumfuck and not lay the wood to those red necks.

Mr. Woodcock

Win or lose,Dap, rest assured that you will always have a job mowing the lawn at Woodcock's hotel ca anytime that you want.

Chop chop.
